This year I have had the amazing opportunity to exchange experiences and get to know new life stories of people that had come to me because they find themselves in search of a new job for different circumstances: professionals who want to change career; people who had lost their jobs for numerous reasons and who are in a middle age ; millennials, who are searching for a working place with unthoughtful characteristics, to combine them with their own entrepreneurship; people with disabilities who are about to start a working life; retired adults who are looking for a way to share all the experience that years had left them, and many other, that if I could make a list would be endless.

Every time I have the joy of starting a Coaching Career process with them, I become conscious of the huge responsibility all of us have, us who dedicate our time to collaborate with companies in their process to take with them new associates, as the social commitment that this brings to those who are part of the Human Resource Team.

Being in touch with colleagues that have dedicated years to this, I find a diversity on criteria and the way of designing strategies to recruit people, in their selection policies, stablished as for years, is how they have learned to decide if people will continue the process with them because it is alright or it has historically been correct.

But there is another group which every day is becoming bigger, that work in a second approach and we must remember that every time someone comes to us and rely on us their new search, their story and even their future dreams, we are responsible to deliver the best of us so that the decision we take may be the best for our candidate, their families and community.

Therefore, I always say: When you interview, also listen with the heart!
